Skiing & Snowboarding

Bansko is Bulgaria 's newest and most rapidly developing ski resort. The Pirin Mountains are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bansko has alpine character with three peaks towering above 2,900m and provides runs and tracks for all levels, from novice to expert.

There are new runs constantly being added to the mountain and this year is no exception.

At present, there are a total of 65km of ski-runs and paths, a large proportion of which are covered by excellent snow cannons, ensuring the runs are kept snow covered and in excellent condition. There is a brand new dedicated SnowPark with 90m by 16m half pipe for snowboarders and the resort also caters for extreme sports with paragliding and heli-skiing. Bansko also boasts one of the longest ski seasons in Europe.

Ski-School

The excellent ski school offers classes for very reasonable cost to all levels. Ski equipment rental services offer world famous brands and there are ski package offers with classes, unlimited lift use, equipment hire and storage facilities.
